Statistics Calculator++ is a comprehensive scientific calculator that offers a wide range of statistical analysis features, including regression analysis, probability distributions, confidence intervals, and hypothesis tests.
One of the key focuses in the design of this app was to ensure that users could perform statistical analysis without the need to consult a manual. By utilizing the intuitive interface and simple buttons, such as Add X, Add Y, and Add f, users can easily input their data and seamlessly access all the relevant statistics and regression models with just a few taps and swipes. Additionally, a convenient import feature allows users to bring in data from Excel or Numbers by converting them into .csv format.
The app presents a comprehensive table that includes various statistics, such as sum, mean, standard deviation, quartiles, min/max values, and more. Users can also visualize their data with helpful tools like box and whiskers plots and histograms.
Regression analysis capabilities include linear, logarithmic, exponential, power, and quadratic regressions. With an incredibly user-friendly interface, users can select the desired regression model, calculate predictions for x and y values, view residuals and residual sum of squares, and graphically compare how the regression model fits the entered data.
Another standout feature of Statistics Calculator++ is its ability to save multiple lists of data and use them interchangeably as list X, list Y, or list f. The lists are persistently stored in memory even when the app is closed or relaunched.
In addition to its statistical analysis capabilities, the app also offers functionality for various probability distributions such as normal distribution (including functions like normalpdf, normalcdf, invNorm, ShadeNorm), Student's t-distribution (tpdf, tcdf, invT), Chi-Squared distribution, F distribution, Binomial distribution (binompdf, binomcdf), Poisson distribution (poissonpdf, poissoncdf), and Geometric distribution (geometpdf, geometcdf). It also includes Beta and Gamma Distributions.
The app provides step-by-step explanations for confidence interval calculations in scenarios such as "One Population Proportion", "Difference in Two Population Proportions", "Population Mean", and "Difference in Population Means". Similarly, hypothesis tests for "Population Proportion", "Difference in Two Population Proportions", "Population Mean", and "Population Mean Difference" are supported, with options to consider both known and unknown population standard deviations.
Other notable features of Statistics Calculator++ include:

 <li>Calculation of permutation, combination, Least Common Multiple (LCM), Greatest Common Divisor (GCD), and prime factorization</li>
 <li>A quadratic and system of two linear equations solver</li>
 <li>Conversion between rectangular and polar coordinates, which is particularly useful for phasor calculations in electrical engineering</li>
 <li>A dice rolling feature that allows users to throw a set of dice (between 1 to 4 dice)</li>
 <li>Backspace functionality to easily delete the last entered digit</li>
</ul>
The app is an ongoing project, with regular updates planned to introduce additional features and functions. Despite its powerful functionality, Statistics Calculator++ boasts a user-friendly interface that prioritizes simplicity, making it an indispensable tool for both professionals and students alike.
